ELECTION OF STAFF DELEGATES OF LIMBE STAFF UNION TAKES PLACE

On the 15th of January, 2014, executives of the ‘Staff Union’ in Limbe elected new representatives as staff delegates.
This union was held in down beach and the election was carried out in the Council Hall. This was organised as a result of the presidential decree which emphasized and encouraged the aspect of staff unions being created to help provide and address the needs of workers in the various councils. This was also attended by the mayors of the 3 sub divisional council, Limbe 1 (Down beach), Limbe 2 (Mokondange) and Limbe 3(Bimbia). The Government Delegate, S.D.O, and D.O were also present to ensure the election was successfully carried out. Staff representatives are elected after every 3 years.
