By Lingongo Oscar Musonge in Buea for Fako News Centre

Raiders FC of Bonakanda has picked its first victory against Wana Wa Njoh FC of Bova in the ongoing BONAVADA Soccer Tournament taking place in Bonakanda. The Sunday’s opening encounter pitting the two teams witnessed both sides measuring football strength in front of their supporters.
Even though some sports pundits had predicted that Wana Wa Njoh FC will beat Raiders FC considering their defensive organization and attacking fire-power put up during the first 30 minutes of the game, the match finally ended 2-1 in favour of Raiders FC.
Though the goal keeper of Wana Wa Njoh, Empo Maxwell, caught the attention of many during the first half by making several saves, his efforts were however frustrated as he failed to save a long strike from one of raiders FC strikers.

Wana Wa Njoh attacker, Emmanuel Mbella took advantage of a goalkeeping error to give an equaliser for his side 24 minutes into the second segment of the game. However, their joy was short-lived as Emmerand Motutu of Raiders came 2 minutes later to increase the score for his side through a free kick. They maintained this lead till the end of the encounter.
