THIS BAKWERI SONG CALLED WVA TATEH NA WA IYEH (which means our fathers

and our mothers)IS ONE OF THE BEST BAKWERI SONGS EVER COMPOSED. CHOIR

GROUPS ALL OVER FAKO DIVISION SANG IT, AND BAKWERI SCHOOL TEACHERS

TAUGHT IT TO SCHOOL CHILDREN. The song tells us how our fathers and our mothers of long ago made a shrine (mbando) that protected the country in times of war (njuma) and in times of games/festivities (maloko). The young and the old gathered together and prayed, then did the libation, and then called on God almighty.
