NATHANIEL EWUSI, Principal of Government Bilingual High School, Limbe, is laid to rest at his residence in Federal Quarters, Buea.

It was a sad end of year for the education family, the Fako community, friends and relatives of the late former Principal of Government Bilingual High School Limbe, Nathaniel MOFEME EWUSI. While others were busy feasting and celebrating the end of the old and the beginning of a New Year, loved ones to the deceased gathered at his residence at Federal Quarters in Buea on Friday 30th  December, 2011, to sorrowfully lay him to his final resting place.

Nathaniel Ewusi, who suffered from hypertension and diabetes, died on Monday, 5th December , 2011, on his way to hospital after a malaise.  The news of his death sent shock waves to many of his friends, relatives and students especially some of those who claimed to have seen him looking strong the weekend before his death.
Late Nathaniel who was fondly called Nat was born in Buea on the 24th of May 1953 to Phillip Mofeme Ewusi and Agatha Efeti Lyonga. He attended the Basel Mission School, Buea, from 1958-1966 and the Basel Mission College Kumba (now Presbyterian Secondary School Kumba) from 1966-1971. He then moved to the Cameroon Protestant College Bali from 1972 to 1974 before proceeding to the University of Ife, Nigeria1975-1981 where he bagged home a B.A and an MA Degrees in History.


He started his teaching career in 1982 when he was recruited and posted to the Cameroon College of Arts and Science (CCAS) Kumba. He was later integrated into the Public Service in 1986. Before his death, he held the following duty posts.
1995-2000, Principal of Government Secondary School Muea, Buea
2000-2002, Divisional Delegate of Secondary Education for Fako
2003-2005, Principal of Bilingual Secondary School Moyuka
2005-2011, Principal of Bilingual Grammar School Molyko, Buea
At the start of the 2011/2012 school year, the deceased was transferred to Government Bilingual High School Limbe at the same capacity as principal.
Nathaniel Ewusi was married to Suzanne Enjema Elinge Ngollo in 1998 to survive him with four children. He loved music and was a member of the “Old Timers” music group in Buea.
