For the first time in the history of Musonge Musoke Memorial BONAVADA Inter-quarters Football Competition, a team from Bokova(Wokova) has won the trophy. Bokova FC beat current cup holders Bova United 2- 0 during regular play time on Saturday August 24, 2013 .
Both teams separated on a zero tie at the end of the first half of the game with both sides coming near to scoring. It was Bokova FC that proved more determined by fine tuning their play style during the second half of the encounter.
After scoring their first goal, they mounted more pressure to secure their winning chances by visiting the net the second time. This second goal that came some 15 minutes to the end of the game, broke down the spirit of Bova United as they saw their chances of equalising narrowed down.
Playing in desperation to change the score-line situation instead worsened the situation for Bova United. They left their defence-line loose and it became more porous. They were only left at the mercy of the goalkeeper who prevented Bokova FC from several scoring chances.
By the time the referee sounded his whistle to end the match, it was Bokova FC, two, and Bova United, zero. The trophy was handed to Bokova United to be the first team in Bokova to ever win this tournament.
Other prizes were handed to players who performed well. The female category of this tournament received their prizes as well as schools from the BONAVADA communities received trash cans (rubbish bins).
