Energetic Fako Sons Appointed to Head Lucrative and Demanding Faculty And Research Institute In Academia

Two sons of Fako Division, Dr. Ernest Molua of the University of Buea and Prof. Mbua Ngeve of IRAD, have been promoted to Head of Department (HOD) and Director General respectively. Their appointments took place in the month of January 2010.
In the University of Buea, Dr. Molua has been installed as the pioneer HOD of a newly created department, Agro-economics. Dr. Molua and other officials were installed on Wednesday 27 January , 2010. Until his appointment, Dr Ernest Molua was the head of Service in-charge of National and Intra-African Co-orporation at the University of Buea, Cameroon and lecturer in Economics at Buea University.
Whereas Prof Jacob Mbua Ngeve of IRAD, a national institution that takes care of agricultural research in Cameroon, has been promoted to head the institution. He is now the Director General of IRAD.
